Finally. After months and months of camping on various B&S and marketplaces I finally found a reasonably cheap chunky knit shawl-neck cardigan. I’ve been hunting for one since back in spring and during summer, as I like to plan ahead and I was pretty disappointed because of the shipping fees.
It should arrive soon so expect some fit pics. I need to clear out some of my junk in the closet.
Oh and future purchase note:
- either grab the toj trench whenever it comes out
- or buy a parka for this damned rainy weather
Ugh… my photobucket is capped and theres still a few weeks left in the month. Can’t even post any new fits.
Got woken up by the postman today and now have my Pea Coat.
I was really suprised how dense the coat is. It’s not actually crazy thick, even my zara peacoat is thicker but it’s so dense that it really keeps the heat in. Another amazing thing is how well it holds it’s shape. I can bend the collar into any shape and it will stay that way instead of flopping around.
I’m a bit busy right now so I will post fit pics on the weekend.
I do admit that I am getting the same feeling as usual when purchasing from TOJ. I always have my doubts when I first get the item. Like when I picked up the TOJ1 varsity, I was a bit suprised how light it was and had my doubts as to what to pair it with. But I soon changed my opinion after wearing it for a week with it’s amazing cut but I do hate the rattling zippers. I would be wearing it constantly now if the weather wasn’t so cold. I was also a little reluctant about the bomber at first because I did buy it knowing that the arms and body would be a little long. But I used that to my advantage for a more looser look since it is still slim.
I’m sure this will be same with my pea coat. I’m not extremely confident on what to pair it with because I don’t have any black slim trousers and it might not look as slim as I planned. But I will just wear it and see what happens.
Just sold a peacoat on trademe for $200 lol. Probably one of the highest profits I’ve made in a while since I bought it for $80.
Also sold a Uniqlo trench for $175. I just realised I can’t include the tags because they have the price on it >.> (59.99gbp). Oh well.
Got a few more sales ready but I can’t say how much profit I’m making in case they read my blog haha.
More cash to fund more TOJ!
